This week’s verses are Ephesians 2:8-9 and Romans 4:5. These verses lay out one of the clearest truths of the Gospel — we are saved by grace through faith, not by our works. Salvation is God’s gift, not our achievement. Questions these verses answer in evangelism: • How can I be saved if I’ve done too much wrong? • Don’t I have to earn my way to heaven? • Why isn’t being a “good person” enough? • What does it mean to be justified by faith? Goal: Memorize both verses by the end of the week and keep reviewing all previous ones. Completing this week’s challenge can earn you up to 15 points!

Questions these verses answer in evangelism: • What does it mean to truly follow Jesus? • How can I overcome sin or addiction? • Why do Christians say Jesus changes lives? • What does real freedom look like according to the Bible? Goal: Have both verses memorized by the end of the week and continue reviewing all previous verses. Those who complete this week’s challenge can earn up to 13 points!

These verses reveal the reality of what happens when someone is united with Christ — the old self is crucified, and we now live to God. Questions these verses answer in evangelism: • What does it mean to be “dead to sin”? • If I’m saved, why do I still struggle with sin? • How can I live a changed life after coming to Christ? • What actually happens when someone puts their faith in Jesus?

Week 3 Official Standings. 1. Chris- 5 Points 2. Jeff- 5 Points 3. Tanner- 5 Points 4 Cassi- 1 Point 5. Jesuslover- 0 Points
Points will be consolidated every Saturday at noon. Please note that we have only went over 5 verses in the curriculum so the maximum amount of points you can acquire each week is equal to the amount of verses we have went through. This will allow others the opportunity to remain competitive. Towards the end of this challenge we will see the availability to gain around 50 points each week so this will indeed become a challenge the longer this goes on.
I found a way to keep us engaged! Let’s implement a POINTS SYSTEM! Each week on Saturday I’ll pull the number of current verses that you have went through in our lesson plan and we will be given one point per verse that is current. Make sure to hit that review tab at some point today to ensure those verses are current so they add to your count tomorrow! At the end of this we can give some type of awards!
Let’s welcome Chris and Cassi to the group! We’re glad to have you both on board. This week we will focus on just one verse to give our new members a chance to catch up: John 14:6. Questions this verse answers in evangelism: • Aren’t all religions the same? • Can’t I get to God by just being a good person? • Why do Christians say Jesus is the only way? • Isn’t it arrogant to claim there’s just one truth?
Street Evangelism – Week Two Memory Challenge This week’s verses: Romans 6:23 and John 3:3 Questions these verses answer: Romans 6:23 – Why is sin serious? Why would God punish? Can good works save? John 3:3 – Why can’t being good get me to heaven? What does it mean to be a Christian? Aren’t all religions valid? Together: Sin pays death, but new birth in Christ brings life. Goal: Learn both by the end of the week and keep reviewing past verses.
Questions These Verses Can Answer in Street Evangelism 1. “I’m a good person—why do I need forgiveness?” → Romans 5:18–19 shows that guilt is inherited; it’s not just about your personal “goodness.” 2. “Why does God blame us for Adam’s sin?” → These verses explain that Adam’s disobedience made all guilty—but Christ’s obedience opens the door for all to be made righteous. 3. “How can one man’s death on a cross save me?” → Just as one man’s act (Adam) condemned the world, one man’s act (Jesus) brings life.
This week we begin with the foundation of the Gospel message: all of humanity is guilty because of Adam, but justification and righteousness come through Jesus. Romans 5:18 & Romans 5:19.
